Luigi Ontani, Ontano di venti (Alder of the winds), 1992
Based on a pun, a play on words from which the painted image derives (as often happens in his works), this work shows an Ontani/Alder surrounded by little spinning creatures which shake the foliage like breezes. The theme is interpreted with the technique of a delicate watercolour on paper, like other works from the same year, as for example 20 Venti trasparenti (20 transparent Winds).
