Fake blood protest at the National Gallery

Last Sunday, the staircase of the National Gallery in London was covered with red paint by a group of activists of the movements Extinction Rebellion and Brazil’s Indigenous People Articulation.
The protest was held against the deaths of Brazilian indigenous peoples and the devastation of the Amazon Forest.
The action aims to make the public more aware of what is happening under the government of Bolsonaro.
Extinction Rebellion activists say: “As of today, 21,000 indigenous lives are threatened by the Coronavirus in Brazil, 600 of which have already been lost. In addition to the virus there are racism, illegal deforestation, criminal networks, mining companies.”
