Gilberto Zorio

This work is representative of a series in which Zorio uses animal skin as an artistic element in its own right. The leather becomes in some cases a support for creating overlaid elements such as the ancestral figure of the star. In this particular case, he draws in colored ink directly onto the grey leather. The title itself synthesizes the artist’s conceptual intent.
