Came out the tourist who damaged the statue of Canova

A few days ago the media reported that at the museum of Antonio Canova in Possagno an Austrian tourist had damaged a sculpture of the neoclassical artist sitting on it to take a selfie, But I got it from the security cameras.  After a few days, the French tourist revealed himself to the authorities, sharing his identity in a letter to the president of the Canova Foundation, Vittorio Sgarbi.
In the letter, the tourist admitted that he had behaved irresponsibly, asking for information on the steps needed to repair the damage.  Waiting to see if the Austrian tourist will pay for what he has done, the hope is that of an exemplary punishment, since we are not talking about a broken and replaceable vase, but a sculpture of inestimable value and importance.
